Admission Information

Application Procedure

It is recommended for the applicants to fill out the registration and application forms online at https://imsru.edu.in/admissiononline, the website of the Institute of Management Studies Ranchi.

Important update:

  • Online submission of application form is from 22.07.2024 to 10.08.2024
  • The last date to apply for an MBA full-time or MBA executive course is 10th August 2024.
  • GD and PI rounds will be conducted at the IMS campus on the scheduled dates 11.08.2024 to 13.08.2024.
  • The provisional selection list and a waiting list will be published on 14.08.2024 (working days).
  • Verification of documents and admission period based on selection lists begin from 16.08.2024 to 20.08.2024
  • The session will officially begin on August 30, 2024.
  • If the candidate fails to provide the necessary paperwork before August 20, 2024, their admission will be rejected.

Application Fee

The application fee for a 2-year full-time MBA is as follows:

  • General/OBC: Rs 500/-
  • SC/ST: Rs 400/-

The application fee for an executive MBA is Rs 1000/- for all categories.

Candidates who are not from Jharkhand will be categorized as general applicants, and their application fee will be Rs 500/- only for a regular full-time MBA.

Selection Procedure

The candidates shall be selected from the merit list as per the prevailing selection policy in place. For more details, please visit the institute's website. Candidates with a graduation score of 50% or above are eligible to apply for a 2-year full-time MBA and a 2-year executive MBA.

Admission

The provisional selection list will be published on the institute website and notice board on the notified date. The 2-year full-time MBA program shall start normally in the third week of July. The executive MBA course normally starts in the first week of September.

Rs. 30,000/- per semester (General & OBC categories)
Rs. 25,000/- per semester (SC & ST Categories)

2 Year Executive MBA Course

Rs. 50,000/- per semester (For all categories)

The fee is payable at the beginning of each semester.
